1Factories (Registration and Other Services — Fees and Forms) Regulations2
1   The Factories (Registration and Other Services — Fees and Forms) Regulations were originally made under the 1998 Revised Edition of the Factories Act (Cap. 104). The Act was renamed Workplace Safety and Health Act (Act 7 of 2006) wef 1st March 2006. The Factories (Registration and Other Services — Fees and Forms) Regulations still remain in force until they are revoked.

Citation
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Factories (Registration and Other Services — Fees and Forms) Regulations.
Definitions
2.  In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —
“construction worksite” means a factory in which building operations or works of engineering construction are carried on;
“shipyard” means a factory in which ships or other floating structures are constructed, reconstructed, repaired, refitted, painted, finished or broken up.

Fees for special services
4.  The fees to be paid in respect of special services shall be in accordance with Part II of the First Schedule.
Fee for approval of third party inspection agency
4A.  The fee to be paid in respect of the approval of an organisation as a third party inspection agency or the renewal of such approval shall be $180.

Fee for registration as approved scaffold contractor
4B.  The fee to be paid in respect of the registration as an approved scaffold contractor under the Factories (Scaffolds) Regulations 2004 (G.N. No. S 19/2004) or the renewal of a certificate of registration shall be $150.

Fee for approval of crane contractor
4C.  The fee to be paid in respect of the approval of an organisation as an approved crane contractor under the Factories (Operation of Cranes) Regulations (Rg 10) or the renewal of such approval shall be $150.

Fee for approval of approved person or authorised boiler inspector
4D.—(1)  The fee to be paid in respect of the approval of an approved person or authorised boiler inspector shall be $250.
(2)  The fee to be paid in respect of the renewal of such approval shall be $60.
(3)  Paragraphs (1) and (2) shall not apply to any factory inspector appointed under section 84 of the Act.

Government departments exempted
6.  Regulations 3 and 4 shall not apply to any department of the Government.
Reports and certificates
7.  The reports or certificates, as the case may be, on steam boilers, superheaters, economisers, steam receivers, cast-iron underfired vulcanisers, air receivers, refrigerating plant pressure receivers, hoists, lifts, lifting gear, lifting appliances and lifting machines shall be in the forms set out in the Second Schedule.
Notice to attend court
8.  The form of notice requiring any person to attend court referred to in section 88(4) of the Act shall be as set out in the Third Schedule.
