| In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Undesirable Publications Act, the Minister for Information and the Arts has appointed, with effect from 9th April 1998 — |
| (a) | the following officers as controllers:| (i) | the Director, Deputy Director, the Manager (Examination), Manager (Consultation) and Manager (Enforcement) of the Films and Publications Department in the Ministry of Information and the Arts; | | (ii) | the Director, Security and Intelligence Division, Ministry of Defence; | | (iii) | the Director, Internal Security Department, Ministry of Home Affairs; | | (iv) | the Head and Deputy Head of the Anti-Vice Branch of the Criminal Investigation Department, Ministry of Home Affairs; | | (v) | the Director-General of Customs and Excise; and | | (vi) | the Controller of Immigration; and |
| | (b) | the Director of the Films and Publications Department in the Ministry of the Information and the Arts as the Chief Controller. |
