2. Jasmani Bin Bakran (NRIC No. S1532541J) is hereby exempted from the application of section 6 of the Act in respect of —| (a) | the de-registration and scrapping of a motor car bearing registration number SFB 3917 D; and | | (b) | where the Land Transport Authority of Singapore has granted a rebate under rule 8(4) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules (Cap. 276, R 5) in respect of the de-registration of the motor car referred to in sub-paragraph (a) —| (i) | his using of the benefit of the rebate for the registration of another motor car; and | | (ii) | his using of his funds to purchase the motor car referred to in sub-paragraph (i), and to pay the fees for the registration of the motor car. |
