| Citation |
| 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Science Centre Board Regulations. |
| Definition |
| 2. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires, “Director” means the chief administrative officer of the Science Centre referred to in section 7(1) of the Act. |
| Meeting |
| 3. The Board may meet at such times and places as it may determine but shall hold a meeting at least once in two months. |
| Quorum |
| 4. Six members of the Board shall constitute a quorum at any meeting of the Board, and no business shall be transacted unless a quorum is present. |
| Chairman to preside at meetings |
| 5. The Chairman, or in his absence, the Deputy Chairman, shall preside at all meetings of the Board. |
| In Chairman’s absence, member to preside at meetings |
| 6. In the absence of the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman, such member of the Board as the members present at a meeting may elect shall preside at the meeting of the Board. |
| Casting vote |
| 7. All questions coming before or arising at any meeting of the Board shall be decided by a majority of members of the Board present and voting thereon, and in case of an equality of votes, the person presiding at the meeting shall have a casting vote. |

| 9. The Director shall act as the ex-officio Secretary to the Board and shall keep proper minutes and other records of the meetings of the Board. |
