Citation

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Sale of Food (Composition of Offences) Regulations.

Compoundable offences

2.  The following offences may be compounded by the Director-General or any other authorised officer in accordance with section 50(1) of the Act:

(a) any offence under section 5, 6, 7, 10, 20, 24(1) or 40 of the Act;

(b) any offence under regulation 261 of the Food Regulations (Rg 1); and

(c) any offence under regulation 14(1) of the Sale of Food (Non‑Retail Food Business) Regulations (Rg 5).
