Rapid Transit Systems (Creation of Rights) (No. 3) Notification 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Rapid Transit Systems Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Rapid Transit Systems (Creation of Rights) (No. 3) Notification 2002 and shall come into operation on 14th November 2002.
Powers of Authority
2.  The Authority or any person authorised by the Authority may, at any reasonable time and for the purposes of and incidental to the operation of the railway, enter upon the railway areas in the lands described in the First Schedule and exercise such rights as are described in the Second Schedule in, under or over those areas of land.
Inspection of plan
3.  Copies of plans of the railway areas in the lands described in the First Schedule shall be available for inspection by the public free of charge at the office of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore at 1 Hampshire Road, Singapore 219428 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays, and between 9 a.m. and 12 noon on Saturdays (Sundays and public holidays excepted).

SECOND SCHEDULE
Paragraph 2
1.  The uninterrupted right to pass and repass with trains —
(a)along any railway tunnel constructed under any of the lands described in the First Schedule; and
(b)along any railway viaduct constructed above any of the lands described in the First Schedule,
for the purpose of carriage of passengers by train and for all purposes necessary and incidental thereto.
2.  The right of uninterrupted passage without vehicles for the purpose of access and egress to and from any railway premises constructed on, above or under any of the lands described in the First Schedule or any other land adjoining thereto.
3.  The right at all times to subjacent and lateral support from the soil and subsoil for any facilities on, above or below the railway area that are connected with the operation of the rapid transit system.
