Rapid Transit Systems (Creation of Rights) (No. 2) Notification 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Rapid Transit Systems Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Rapid Transit Systems (Creation of Rights) (No. 2) Notification 2011.
Powers of Authority
2.—(1)  The Authority or any person authorised by the Authority may, at any reasonable time and for the purposes of and incidental to the operation of the railways known as the North-South Line and East-West Line for Jurong East MRT Station, enter upon the railway areas in the lands described in the First Schedule and exercise such rights as are described in the Second Schedule in, under or over those areas of those lands.
(2)  The rights created under this Notification shall be in addition to such rights as have been created under the Mass Rapid Transit Corporation (Creation of Rights) (No. 2) Notification 1988 (G.N. No. S 345/1988) in respect of the lands described in the First Schedule.
Inspection of plans
3.  Copies of the plans of the railway areas described in the First Schedule shall be available for inspection by the public free of charge at the office of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore at 1 Hampshire Road, Singapore 219428 —
(a)between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. of any day from Monday to Friday (except public holidays); but
(b)if any such day is the eve of the New Year, Lunar New Year or Christmas, between 9 a.m. and 12 noon.

SECOND SCHEDULE
Paragraph 2
1.  The uninterrupted right to pass and repass with trains along any railway viaduct constructed on or above any of the lands described in the First Schedule for the purpose of the carriage of passengers by train and for all purposes necessary and incidental thereto.
2.  The right of uninterrupted passage with or without vehicles for the purpose of access and egress to and from any railway premises constructed on or above any of the lands described in the First Schedule or any other land adjoining thereto.
3.  The right at all times to have any structure constructed by the Authority on or above any of the lands described in the First Schedule for the operation of the Rapid Transit System supported, upheld and maintained by the soil and subsoil of such lands.
