4. The driving school must demonstrate adequate commitment to training facilities, infrastructure, instruction of trainees and business by complying with, at the minimum, the following:| (a) | for each class of driving licence taught in the driving school, the school shall conduct both theory and practical lessons for the learner drivers according to TP’s training curriculum; | | (b) | the driving school shall have a minimum local capital investment of 10 million Singapore dollars (directly or indirectly related to driving training); the capital investment may include the fleet of vehicles for training and infrastructure for conducting driving lessons; | | (c) | the driving school shall have a minimum floor area of not less than 20,000 square metres (measured in gross floor area and/or land area); | | (d) | the driving school shall have driver training facilities appropriate for the type of training conducted at the driving school and such facilities shall include (but shall not be limited to) —| (i) | a purpose-built driving circuit according to the requirement in TP’s training curriculum; | | (ii) | classrooms for conduct of driving theory lessons; and | | (iii) | other rooms dedicated for relevant purposes (e.g. rooms to house driving simulators); and |
| | (e) | the driving school should have company-issued uniforms for its driving instructors. |
