Road Traffic (Authorisation of Use) (No. 3)
Notification 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Road Traffic (Authorisation of Use) (No. 3) Notification 2017.
Authorised use of vehicle
2.—(1)  Subject to sub‑paragraph (2), the vehicle bearing the registration number SG4002G, and which does not comply with the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) Rules (R 9), is authorised for use on the routes specified in the Schedule from 5 June 2017 to 31 January 2018 (both dates inclusive).
(2)  The authorisation in sub‑paragraph (1) is subject to the following conditions:
(a)there must be in force at all times a policy of insurance, in relation to the vehicle, insuring against any liability in respect of damage to any property or the death of, or bodily injury sustained by, any person caused by or arising out of the use of the vehicle;
(b)there must, at all times, be a valid special purpose licence issued under section 28A(3) of the Act in respect of the vehicle.
(3)  To avoid doubt, this Notification does not affect the operation of section 65A of the Act.
