Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Exemption) Order.

Exemption

2.  Rule 17 of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Quota System) Rules [R 31] shall not apply to any certificate of entitlement for a motor vehicle in the category referred to in rule 3 (b) of those Rules which was issued to —

(a) SBS Taxi Pte. Ltd.;

(b) Singapore Airport Bus Services Ltd.; and

(c) Singapore Commuter Pte. Ltd.,

before 30th June 1995 but which had not, on or after that date, been used for the registration of a motor vehicle.

Transfer of certificate of entitlement

3.  Every certificate of entitlement referred to in paragraph 2 may, with the approval of the Registrar and on payment of a fee of $10, be transferred from SBS Taxi Pte. Ltd., Singapore Airport Bus Services Ltd. or Singapore Commuter Pte. Ltd., as the case may be, to Citycab Pte. Ltd.
