Residential Property Act

(Chapter 274)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 32(1) of the Residential Property Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Residential Property (Exemption — Sentosa Cove) Notification 2006 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 19th December 2003.

Definitions

2. In this Notification —

“housing developer” has the same meaning as in section 31(18) of the Act;

“Sentosa Development Corporation” means the Sentosa Development Corporation established under the Sentosa Development Corporation Act (Cap. 291).

Exemption for housing developers

3. A housing developer who purchases or acquires directly from the Sentosa Development Corporation any estate or interest in the land set out in the Schedule for the construction of dwelling-houses or flats for sale, is hereby exempted from all provisions of the Act.

THE SCHEDULE

The land referred to in paragraph 3 is Lot 1856A in Mukim 34 as subdivided into the following lots:
