Residential Property (Variation of Exemption No. 10) Notification 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 32(1) of the Residential Property Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Residential Property (Variation of Exemption No. 10) Notification 1996 and shall come into operation on 26th April 1996.
2.  The conditions imposed by the Minister on the proprietorship of the land set out in the Schedule (the land) by a foreign person as defined in the Residential Property Act and as set out in Document [44] dated 27th November 1990 are hereby varied as set out in Document [44] (Variation No. 1) dated 26th April 1996.

Lots 5380pt, 1513pt, 1521pt, 1515pt, 1523pt, 1524pt, 1525, 1526pt, 1527pt, 170pt, 169pt, 5390, 5392, 5391pt, 171-2pt, 3677, 1538pt, 3675, 165, 3673, 164-1, 3671, 163, 3669, 162, 6787, 6789, 161-4, 161-1, 6791, 6790, 159-1pt, 159-2, 158-2, 158-1pt, 158-3pt, 157pt, 138-8, State Reserve, 138-28pt, 138-29pt and 138-7 Mukim 27 estimated to contain an area of 126 hectares (scaled) as more particularly delineated in the sketch plan.

OTHER RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY ACT.
(CHAPTER 274).
Pursuant to section 32(1) of the Residential Property Act, the Minister for Law has imposed the following conditions on the land known as —
Lots 5380pt, 1513pt, 1521pt, 1515pt, 1523pt, 1524pt, 1525, 1526pt, 1527pt, 170pt, 169pt, 5390, 5392, 5391pt, 171-2pt, 3677, 1538pt, 3675, 165, 3673, 164-1, 3671, 163, 3669, 162, 6787, 6789, 161-4, 161-1, 6791, 6790, 159-1pt, 159-2, 158-2, 158-1pt, 158-3pt, 157pt, 138-8, State Reserve, 138-28pt, 138-29pt and 138-7 Mukim 27 estimated to contain an area of 126 hectares (scaled) as more particularly delineated in the sketch plan.
Conditions imposed are:
(1)  The said land shall remain within “recreation” zone;
(2)  Where a recreation club is formed by or under the direction of the proprietor of the said land, 51% of the membership of such recreation club shall comprise —
(i)  citizens of Singapore or permanent residents of Singapore; or
(ii)  Singapore companies or societies as defined in the Residential Property Act which hold a valid Clearance Certificate issued by the Controller of Residential Property under the Residential Property Act;
(3)  Where a recreation club is formed by or under the direction of the proprietor of the land, the proprietor of the said land which is a company or a society, shall file with the Controller of Residential Property a Statutory Declaration for every consecutive year from 2nd May 1996 stating that 51% or more of the members of the recreation club on the land are:
(i)  citizens of Singapore or permanent residents of Singapore; or
(ii)  Singapore companies or societies as defined in the Residential Property Act which hold a valid Clearance Certificate issued by the Controller of Residential Property under the Residential Property Act;
(4)  Where the proprietor of the land is a company, the statutory declaration shall be made by its director or secretary and where the proprietor of the land is a society, shall be made by its trustee;
(5)  The exemption shall be revoked if —
(a)  condition (1) ceases to exist; or
(b)  condition (2) or (3) is breached.
