Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23(1)(a) of the Revised Edition of the Laws Act 1983, the Law Revision Commissioners make the following Order:

Citation

1.  This Order is the Revised Edition of the Laws (Rectification of Acts) Order 2022.

Rectification of errors

2.  The provisions of the Acts specified in the first column of the Schedule are rectified in the manner set out in the second column of the Schedule.

(a) Section 54(1)

In paragraph (e) of the definition of “grounds for disciplinary action”, delete “subsection (7)” and substitute “subsection (6)”.

(b) Section 63(6)

Delete “(6)” and substitute “(5)”.

2. Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act 1955
(2020 Revised Edition)

Section 1(1)

After “(Temporary Provisions) Act”, insert “1955”.

3. Income Tax Act 1947
(2020 Revised Edition)

Section 42(1)

After “executor),”, insert “tax”.

4. Railways Act 1905
(2020 Revised Edition)

(a) Section 41(2)(a) and (b)

Delete “tonne” and substitute in each case “ton”.

(b) Section 73(2)

Delete “tonne” wherever it appears and substitute in each case “ton”.
