Revised Editions of Booklets (Consolidation) Order

Whereas pursuant to the Revised Edition of the Laws Act, the Law Revision Commissioners have published in the form of separate booklets —

(a) under section 10(1)(a), the Acts set out in the First Schedule;

(b) under section 10(1)(b), the Acts set out in the Second Schedule; and

(c) under section 10(3), the Acts set out in the Third Schedule,

as in force on the dates set out in the first column of the Schedules:

And Whereas it is enacted by section 11(3) of the Revised Edition of the Laws Act that the Commissioners shall transmit to the President a copy of each of the booklets and the President may thereupon, by order published in the Gazette, specify that the booklets shall in all courts and for all purposes be the sole and only proper law of Singapore in respect of those Acts:

Now therefore it is ordered by the President that the booklets shall, with effect from the dates set out in the third column of the Schedules, be the sole and only proper law of Singapore in respect of those Acts.
