Rules 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 68C of the Registered Designs Act 2000, the Minister for Finance makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Registered Designs (Border Enforcement Measures — Fees) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 21 November 2022.
Fees
2.  The fees specified in the second column of the Schedule are payable to the Director‑General in respect of the matters set out in the first column of that Schedule.

1.For the processing of a written notice mentioned in section 68D(1) of the Act

2.For the escort of a conveyance conveying seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous escort
3.For the attendance of one or more authorised officers or senior authorised officers in connection with —
 
 
(a)the inspection of seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the inspection
(b)the destruction of seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the destruction
4.For the attendance of one or more authorised officers or senior authorised officers in connection with any other act or service under Part 6A of the Act
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the operation
