Citation

1.  These Regulations are the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2019.

Compoundable offences

2.  The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded by the Registrar in accordance with section 31 of the Act:

(a) any offence under section 6(2), 16(6), 17(4), 18(5), 19(3), 21(3) or 27 of the Act;

(b) any offence under regulation 20(4) or 21(4) of the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Proliferation Financing) Regulations 2019.
