Parking Places
(Grange Road and Central Boulevard Lands —
Exemption) Order 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Parking Places (Grange Road and Central Boulevard Lands — Exemption) Order 2020 and comes into operation on 11 February 2020.
Exemption
2.—(1)  Subject to sub‑paragraph (2), an owner or occupier of any part of the land comprised in any item of the Schedule is exempt from section 6A(1) of the Act in relation to the minimum number of parking lots for cars and motorcycles prescribed in rule 4(1)(a)(i) of the Parking Places (Provision of Parking Places and Parking Lots) Rules 2018 (G.N. No. S 286/2018) in respect of any approved development of that land or part of the land.
(2)  The exemption under sub‑paragraph (1) ceases to apply —
(a)in respect of any approved development mentioned in that sub‑paragraph if any building (or part of a building) within the approved development is demolished or reconstructed; or
(b)in respect of any land in the Schedule that is subdivided.
THE SCHEDULE
Paragraph 2
1.Lots TS21-00544N, TS21-00789W and TS21-01313M.
2.All that area the boundary of which starts at the junction between Central Boulevard and Marina Way and continuing progressively —
(a)generally south‑west along Marina Way until its junction with Commerce Street;
(b)generally north-west along Commerce Street until its junction with Straits View;
(c)generally north‑west along an imaginary line between the junction of Commerce Street and Straits View, and the junction of Commerce Street and Marina View;
(d)generally north‑east along Marina View until its junction with Central Boulevard;
(e)generally south-east along Central Boulevard until its junction with Marina Way,
 and which is more particularly demarcated in the map below:
