Preservation of Monuments Act 2009

(Act 16 of 2009)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(1) of the Preservation of Monuments Act 2009, the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, after consulting the National Heritage Board, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Preservation of Monuments Order 2010 and shall come into operation on 28th December 2010.

Monuments

2. The monuments specified in the Schedule are hereby placed under the protection of the Board as national monuments.

The structures within Esplanade Park known as Lim Bo Seng Memorial, The Cenotaph and Tan Kim Seng Fountain, erected on the land known as Lot 00322T TS 10 at Connaught Drive, Singapore and as shown shaded in Plan 2.
