(Padang) Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(1) of the Preservation of Monuments Act 2009, the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, after consulting the National Heritage Board, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order is the Preservation of Monuments (Padang) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 9 August 2022.

Monument

2.  The monument that is a site known as the “Padang” and specified in the Schedule is placed under the protection of the Board as a national monument.

Description	Location
The Padang	The open space of land known as the “Padang” comprised in Lots 00098V pt, 00244W pt, 00245V and 00270N of Town Subdivision (TS) 10, and which is more particularly outlined in the Plan below.
