Preservation of Monuments
Order 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(1) of the Preservation of Monuments Act, Mr Lawrence Wong, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, after consulting the National Heritage Board, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Preservation of Monuments Order 2013 and shall come into operation on 15th August 2013.

Monument

2.  The monument specified in the Schedule is hereby placed under the protection of the Board as a national monument.

THE SCHEDULE

Description	Location
Civilian War Memorial	The structure known as the Civilian War Memorial, erected on the land comprised in Lots 00209W pt and 00856T pt TS 11 at Beach Road, and which is shown shaded in the Plan below.
