Military Manoeuvres Act

(CHAPTER 182)

Whereas under section 8 of the Military Manoeuvres Act it is enacted that the Minister for Defence may by proclamation declare an area to be a firing ground:

And Whereas it is necessary for the purpose of allowing the conduct of military exercises:

Now therefore, the Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred as aforesaid, hereby declares that the area specified in the Schedule shall be a firing ground on 15 December 2014 and 16 December 2014.

THE SCHEDULE

Training Plot 6A West

All that area comprised in State Land Lots 1265W, 50-1, 49-2, 1010M, 1266V, 42-3, 1250M, 43-5, 44 and 44-6 and part of State Land Lots 50-10, 55-2, 54-2, 53-2, 52-2, 1264M, 51-2, 2528K, 1011W, 1249V, 1338V, 65-5, 65-4, 274, 275, 50-2, 323, 43-4, 45-5 and 273X in Mukim No. 11 and Mukim No. 14 occupied by “Training Plot 6A West”, containing an area of about 1,986,794 square metres and bounded approximately as follows:

Commencing at a point on the southernmost corner of the aforesaid “Training Plot 6A West” which point is 41,270.540 metres North and 19,737.164 metres East of the Land Survey Department, Singapore Land Authority origin of co‑ordinates (30,000 metres North, 30,000 metres East), the boundaries run along successive lines of bearings and distances approximately as follows:
