In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Act 2008, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Notification is the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Designated Psychiatric Institution) Notification 2025 and comes into operation on 1 April 2025.

Designated psychiatric institution

2.  The Minister designates the parts of Changi Medical Facility comprising the premises specified in the Schedule to be a psychiatric institution for the detention or treatment of mentally disordered persons under the Act.

Revocation

3.  Revoke the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Designated Psychiatric Institution) (No. 2) Notification 2010 (G.N. No. S 134/2010).
