Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Notification is the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institutions) Notification 2018 and comes into operation on 1 July 2018.

Approved institutions

2.  The Minister declares the places set out in the Schedule to be approved institutions for the purpose of the treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts and other persons under the Act.

Cancellation

3.  The following Notifications are cancelled:

(a) the Notification relating to Approved Institutions (N 3);

(b) the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institutions) Notification 2004 (G.N. No. S 6/2004);

(c) the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institution) Notification 2006 (G.N. No. S 22/2006);

(d) the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institutions) Notification 2007 (G.N. No. S 22/2007);

(e) the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institutions) Notification 2009 (G.N. No. S 264/2009).
