(Direction under section 19A(1)(d))
Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19A(1)(d) of the Limited Liability Partnerships Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Notification may be cited as the Limited Liability Partnerships (Direction under section 19A(1)(d)) Notification 2015 and comes into operation on 3 January 2016.

Direction under section 19A(1)( d ) of Act

2.—(1)  The Minister directs that, subject to sub-paragraph (2), the Registrar must not accept for registration under the Act any name containing the word “Temasek”.

(2)  Sub-paragraph (1) does not apply if a partner or prospective partner of the limited liability partnership or proposed limited liability partnership is Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap. 50) (Registration No. 197401143C).

Revocation

3.  The Direction under section 19(1)(d) (Dir 1) is revoked.
