(Exemption of Foreign Income) (No. 3)
Order 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(12) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Exemption of Foreign Income) (No. 3) Order 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1)  GE Pacific Pte Ltd is hereby granted exemption from tax on the dividends received in Singapore from —

(a) GE Pacific (Mauritius) Ltd, a company located in Mauritius, on 15th May 2008, 9th October 2008, 13th October 2009, and on or after 14th February 2013;

(b) New China Control Systems Ltd, a company located in the British Virgin Islands, on or after 14th February 2013; and

(c) Hydril India JV LLC, a company located in the United States, on or after 14th February 2013.

(2)  The exemption under sub‑paragraph (1) is subject to the terms and conditions specified in the letter of approval dated 14th February 2013 addressed to GE Pacific Pte Ltd.
