Protected Areas and Protected Places Act

(Chapter 256)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Protected Areas (No. 2) Order 2009 and shall come into operation on 30th October 2009.

Area declared to be protected area

2. The area described in the second column of the Schedule is hereby declared to be a protected area for the purposes of the Act, and every person who is in that area shall comply with such directions for regulating his movement and conduct as may be given by an authorised officer acting by or on behalf of the authority specified in the first column of the Schedule.

MARINA SOUTH PIER.

All that enclosed area and adjoining piers and foreshore structures at 31 Marina Coastal Drive, Singapore 018988 in TS 30 Lots 228X, 260K and 261N occupied by “MARINA SOUTH PIER” containing an area of about 4624 square metres and bounded approximately as follows:

Commencing at Point E of the aforesaid “MARINA SOUTH PIER” which point is 28148.590 metres North and 31328.378 metres East of the Singapore Land Authority SVY 21 Datum, the boundaries run along successive lines of co-ordinates approximately as follows:
