Protected Areas and Protected Places Act

(Chapter 256)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Protected Areas (No. 8) Order 2003 and shall come into operation on 4th July 2003.

Premises declared to be protected areas

2. The areas described in the second column of the Schedule are hereby declared to be protected areas for the purposes of the Act, and every person who is in any of those areas shall comply with such directions for regulating his movement and conduct as may be given by an authorised officer.

PULAU SERAYA POWER STATION (STAGE 3 AND 2X370 MW COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT)

(1) All that area comprised in part of Lot 805T, in Mukim No. 34, occupied by “PULAU SERAYA POWER STATION (STAGE 3 AND 2X370 MW COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT)” containing an area of about 2,074 square metres and bounded approximately as follows:

Commencing at the northernmost corner of the aforesaid “PULAU SERAYA POWER STATION (STAGE 3 AND 2X370 MW COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT)” which point is 29,132.330 metres North and 16,677.665 metres East of the Singapore Land Authority origin of co-ordinates (30,000 metres North, 30,000 metres East), the boundaries run along successive lines of bearings and distances as follows:

(2) All that area comprised in part of Sea near southern boundary of Lot 805T occupied by “PULAU SERAYA POWER STATION (STAGE 3 AND 2X370 MW COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT)” containing an area of about 616 square metres and bounded approximately as follows:

Commencing at the northernmost corner of the aforesaid “PULAU SERAYA POWER STATION (STAGE 3 AND 2X370 MW COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT)” which point is 29,080.911 metres North and 16,726.532 metres East of the Singapore Land Authority origin of co-ordinates (30,000 metres North, 30,000 metres East), the boundaries run along successive lines of bearings and distances as follows:
