Protected Areas (No. 6) Order 1984
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
1.  This Order may be cited as the Protected Areas (No. 6) Order 1984 and shall come into operation on 16th November 1984.
2.  The area described in the Schedule is hereby declared to be a protected area for the purposes of Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, and every person who is in the said area shall comply with such directions for regulating his movement and conduct as may be given by an authorised officer.
3.  The Protected Areas (No. 4) Order 1981 (G.N. No. S 344/81) is revoked.
THE SCHEDULE
New Southern Islands Live Firing Area
     All that area comprised in Pulau Salu, Pulau Pawai, Pulau Berkas, western part of Pulau Sudong (State Land Lot 275 pt.), Pulau Senang and Pulau Biola, MUKIM NO. 34 (OTHER ISLANDS), and all the surrounding foreshores and sea-bed abutting Pulau Salu, Pulau Pawai, Pulau Berkas, Pulau Senang and Pulau Biola and the western part of Pulau Sudong (State Land Lot 275 pt.) within the territorial waters of the Republic of Singapore known as “NEW SOUTHERN ISLANDS LIVE FIRING AREA” and bounded approximately as follows:
     Commencing at a point in the sea north of Pulau Salu at Latitude N. 1° 13’ 49”, Longitude E. 103° 42’ 25”, the boundaries run along successive lines of bearings and distances and pass through successive points of geographical co-ordinates as under:

to a point where it meets an arc having a radius of 6,126.5 metres, thence generally north-eastwards following the aforesaid arc for a distance of 4,277.1 metres to the point of commencement.
     The boundaries of “NEW SOUTHERN ISLANDS LIVE FIRING AREA” are more particularly delineated and edged pink on Survey Print No. 1531-84 filed in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Singapore.
