Protected Areas and Protected Places Act

(Chapter 256)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Protected Areas (No. 8) Order 2002 and shall come into operation on 24th April 2002.

Premises declared to be protected area

2. The area described in the second column of the Schedule is hereby declared to be a protected area for the purposes of the Act, and every person who is in that area shall comply with such directions for regulating his movement and conduct as may be given by an authorised officer.

All that area comprised in State Land Lots 1132, 1290, 2591K, part of State Land Lots 2584v, 2586t, 2595c, 37121, part of State Reserve Lot 1291, Lots 1376, 2365, 2366, part of Lots 470, 477, 1127, 1375, 2899 in MUKIM No. 20 (SOUTH SELETAR), occupied by “TRAINING PLOT 7B”, containing an area of about 1,224,107 square metres and bounded approximately as follows:

Commencing at the northernmost corner of the aforesaid “TRAINING PLOT 7B” which point is 42,131.627 metres North and 30,333.856 metres East of the Land Survey Department, Singapore Land Authority origin of co-ordinates (30,000 metres North, 30,000 metres East), the boundaries run along successive lines of bearings and distances approximately as under:
