Protected Areas and Protected Places Act

(Chapter 256)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Protected Areas (No. 5) Order 2002 and shall come into operation on 10th April 2002.

Premises declared to be protected area

2. The area described in the second column of the Schedule is hereby declared to be a protected area for the purposes of the Act, and every person who is in that area shall comply with such directions for regulating his movement and conduct as may be given by an authorised officer.

TRAINING PLOT 12B WEST.

All that area comprised in State Land Lots 160, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, 170 and 1436K and part of State Land Lots 1420T, 1421A, 1422K, 1431W, 1432V, 1433P, 1437N, 1441X, 175, 176, 177, 178, 179 and 590, MUKIM No. 12, occupied by “TRAINING PLOT 12B WEST”, containing an area of about 224,381 square metres and bounded approximately as follows:

Commencing at a point at the southernmost corner of the aforesaid “TRAINING PLOT 12B WEST” which point is 42,726.600 metres North and 14,421.528 metres East of the Land Survey Department, Singapore Land Authority, origin of co-ordinates (30,000 metres North, 30,000 metres East), the boundaries run along successive lines of bearings and distances approximately as under:
