Media Development Authority of Singapore Act 2002

(Act 34 of 2002)

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21(4) of the Media Development Authority of Singapore Act 2002, the Media Development Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Media Development Authority of Singapore (Regulated Persons) (Dominant and Non-dominant Positions) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 15th April 2003.

Dominant and non-dominant positions

2. For the purposes of section 21 of the Act —

(a)	the regulated persons specified in the first column of the Schedule are considered to have a dominant position in the media industries specified in the second column thereof; and
(b)	any other person specified under section 16(3) of the Act to be a regulated person in a media industry is considered to have a non-dominant position in the media industry.
