Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definition of “immigration depot” in section 2(1) of the Immigration Act, the Controller of Immigration makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Notification is the Immigration (Immigration Depots) (No. 2) Notification 2018 and comes into operation on 1 July 2018.

Designation of immigration depots

2.  The Controller of Immigration designates the places set out in the Schedule to be immigration depots for the examination, inspection or detention of persons under the Act.

Cancellation

3.  The following Notifications are cancelled:

(a) the Immigration Depots (Consolidation) Notification (N 5);

(b) the Notification relating to Immigration Depot (G.N. No. S 217/2012);

(c) the Immigration (Immigration Depots) Notification 2013 (G.N. No. S 811/2013);

(d) the Immigration (Immigration Depot) Notification 2018 (G.N. No. S 223/2018).
