Citation
1.  These Rules are the Hindu Endowments Rules 1969.
Meetings
2.—(1)  Meetings shall be convened whenever required but not less than 4 times in any year.
(2)  Where any matter requires urgent decision, the Secretary of the Board may circulate the relevant papers for the decision of the Board and a resolution approved by circulation shall be tabled for formal approval at the next meeting of the Board and, subject to that, the resolution is deemed to have been passed by the Board on the date of completion of circulation.
Statement of receipts and payments
3.  The Secretary of the Board must, at least once in every 3 months, lay before the Board a statement showing particulars of receipts and payments and of any rents in arrear of properties administered by the Board.
Sub-committees
4.  The Board has power to appoint sub‑committees for any specific purpose, such as raising funds by means of voluntary subscriptions, donations or contributions for the purposes of exercising its powers, performing its duties and discharging its obligations under the Act.
Signing of agreements
5.  All agreements which are not under the seal of the Board must be signed by the Secretary of the Board.
