1.  This Notification may be cited as the Housing Developers (Control and Licensing) (Exemption) (Consolidation) Notification.

2.  The following are exempted from the provisions of the Act:

(1)  the Housing and Development Board

[2284/65 — 1.10.65]

(2)  the Malaya Borneo Building Society Ltd.

[198/66 — 3.2.66]

(3)  the Jurong Town Corporation

[S 334/70 — 11.12.70]

(4)  Finance companies licensed under the Finance Companies Act (Cap. 108) which do not engage in the construction of housing accommodation for sale.

[2610/69 — 29.8.69]

3.  The developers appointed under section 4 of the Executive Condominium Housing Scheme Act (Cap. 99A) are exempted from the rules made under section 22(2)(d) and (e) of the Housing Developers (Control and Licensing) Act.
