Rules 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55B of the Geographical Indications Act 2014, the Minister for Finance makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Geographical Indications (Border Enforcement Measures — Fees) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 21 November 2022.
Definition
2.  In these Rules, “seized goods” means goods that are seized by an authorised officer under section 56(4) or 67(1) of the Act.
Fees
3.  The fees specified in the second column of the Schedule are payable to the Director‑General in respect of the matters set out in the first column of that Schedule.

2.For the escort of a conveyance conveying seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous escort
3.For the attendance of one or more authorised officers or senior authorised officers in connection with —
 
 
(a)the inspection of seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the inspection
(b)the destruction of seized goods
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the destruction
4.For the attendance of one or more authorised officers or senior authorised officers in connection with any other act or service under Part 6 of the Act
 
$29 per half hour (or part of a half hour) of continuous attendance at the operation
