Fees (Singapore Civil Defence Force)
Order 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Fees Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order may be cited as the Fees (Singapore Civil Defence Force) Order 2014.
Fees
2.  The fees specified in the second column of the Schedule shall be payable to the Commissioner of Civil Defence in respect of the matters specified opposite in the first column.
Remission
3.  The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs may, in his discretion, remit wholly or in part any fee payable under this Order.
Revocation
4.  The Fees (Singapore Civil Defence Force) Order (O 30) is revoked.

     In this Schedule —
“Category A fire” means any of the following:
(a)a fire which involves substantial parts of 2 or more rooms in a building;
(b)a fire which is extinguished using more than 2 hose line jets each measuring at least 38 millimetres in diameter;
(c)a fire involving —
(i)any fatality;
(ii)any part of a building which is used by the Government or an organ of State or a statutory board;
(iii)any part of a building which is used by an embassy, a consular office or an international organisation;
(iv)any part of a building which is used by a religious establishment on the day of the fire; or
(v)any part of a building which is used by a political association on the day of the fire;
(d)a fire arising from any explosion;
(e)a fire resulting in burn injuries to more than 3 persons;
“Category B fire” means any of the following:
(a)a fire which involves a substantial part of only one room in a building;
(b)a fire which is extinguished using 2 hose line jets each measuring at least 38 millimetres in diameter;
(c)a fire resulting in burn injuries to 3 or fewer persons;
(d)a fire which involves 2 or more motor vehicles (excluding any motorcycle),
but excludes a Category A fire;
“Category C fire” means any fire which is not a Category A fire or a Category B fire;
“political association” has the same meaning as in the Political Donations Act (Cap. 236).
