2. An offence under any of the following provisions of the Act is prescribed for the purposes of section 21(1)(c) of the Act relating to supplementary enforcement officers:| (a) | section 26(1) or (2) of the Act, in relation to —| (i) | an obstruction of an escape route, a passageway or an exit door; or | | (ii) | any fire safety measure not being in proper working order; |
[S 491/2023 wef 31/12/2021] | | (b) | section 56(2) of the Act, in relation to fire safety works that only involve the erection of awnings at the external façade of a building; [S 491/2023 wef 31/12/2021] | | (c) | section 61(5) of the Act, in relation to —| (i) | a change of use of any premises from residential use to dormitory use; | | (ii) | a change of use of any part of any premises that is not within a building; or | | (iii) | a change of use of any part of any premises within a building, that is designated as a place to park a vehicle. |
