Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(2) of the Films Act, the Minister for Communications and Information makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Notification is the Films (Film Content Assessor — Exempt Films) Notification 2019 and comes into operation on 29 April 2019.

Exemption of video games from film content assessor’s authorisation to classify

2.  Sections 19(1) and 20 of the Act do not apply to a film which is a video game.
