3.—(1) Subject to sub-paragraph (3), an amount of $200 is to be paid to each non-schooling member of the following description:| (a) | a member who is at least 7 years old and not older than 12 years old; | | (b) | a member —| (i) | who is at least 13 years old but below 15 years old; | | (ii) | who is receiving home-schooling and is described in paragraph 3(1)(b) of the Compulsory Education (Exemption) Order (Cap. 51, O 1); and | | (iii) | who, in the year 2013, has not performed, at the Primary School Leaving Examination and the National Education Quiz, at such level of educational achievement that the Director-General of Education may determine for that Examination and Quiz; |
| | (c) | a member who is —| (i) | at least 13 years old and not older than 16 years old; | | (ii) | a pupil of a designated school within the meaning of paragraph 2 of the Compulsory Education (Exemption) Order; and | | (iii) | receiving primary level education in the designated school. |

(2) Subject to sub-paragraph (3), an amount of $240 is to be paid to each non-schooling member of the following description:| (a) | a member who is —| (i) | at least 13 years old and not older than 16 years old; | | (ii) | a pupil of a designated school within the meaning of paragraph 2 of the Compulsory Education (Exemption) Order; and | | (iii) | receiving secondary level education in the designated school; |
| | (b) | a member, other than a member referred to in sub-paragraph (1)(b) or (c), who is at least 13 years old and not older than 16 years old. |

| (3) No amount is to be paid to a non-schooling member who is 16 years old and who attains 17 years of age at any time in 2014. |
