It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to section 12(1)(c) of the Estate Duty Act, the Minister for Finance has approved the Associates Corporation of North America US$500,000,000 Senior Fixed Rate Notes due 2002 and US$500,000,000 Fixed Rate Senior Notes due 2007 for exemption from estate duty.
