Regulations 2025
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 103 of the Electricity Act 2001, the Energy Market Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Manpower, Tan See Leng, the Minister charged with the responsibility for energy and energy utilities, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Electricity (Repurposing of Installations) Regulations 2025 and come into operation on 1 July 2025.
Exclusions from section 38A of Act
2.  The relevant installations specified in the Schedule are excluded from the application of section 38A of the Act.
THE SCHEDULE
Regulation 2
Excluded relevant installations
1.  Any generating unit with a generation capacity of less than 10 MW.
2.  Any generating unit specified in the third column of the First Schedule to the Electricity (Electricity Generation and Retail Licence) (Exemption) Order (O 1), located on the premises specified in the second column of that Schedule against that generating unit.
