Citation

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Electricity (Composition of Offences) Regulations.

Compoundable offences

2.  The offences under the provisions specified in the Schedule (other than any continuing offence) may be compounded by the Authority in accordance with section 93 of the Act.

1. Sections 72(2), 79(5) (in relation to subsection (1)), 80(7), 82(7), 83(4), (5) and (7), 84, 85(1) and 87(1) of the Act.

2. Regulation 18 of the Electricity (Electrical Workers) Regulations (Rg 1).

3. Regulation 40(3) and (4) of the Electricity (Electrical Installations) Regulations (Rg 5).
