Citation

1.  This Order is the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Fees) Order 2012.

Fees

2.—(1)  The fees specified in the Schedule are leviable in respect of the matters or things done in the execution of his or her office by a diplomatic or consular officer.

(2)  The fees are to be in the equivalent local currency of the country to which the officer is accredited.

Remission of fees

3.  The Minister may, in his or her discretion, remit wholly or in part, and either generally or in any particular case or class of cases, any fee specified in the Schedule.

THE SCHEDULE

Paragraphs 2(1) and 3

Notarial

1.—(1) For a certificate of declaration of due execution of any document including seal for one person		$15
(2) For registration and attestation		$1
(3) For each exhibit		$1
2.—(1) On making a copy and marking the copy as a true copy —
(a) certification fee		$2
(b) supply fee — per page		30 cents
(2) On examining a plain copy and marking the copy as a true copy		$2
(3) On taking or re-taking an affidavit or a declaration for each person making the affidavit or declaration		$4
(4) Each exhibit referred to in an affidavit and required to be marked		$1
(5) Each document referred to in a deposition and required to be marked		$1
3.—(1) Statutory declaration for one party		$5
(2) For marking exhibit		$1
(3) For each additional party		$2
4. Notarial certificate and seal on certificate of origin or consular invoices		$10

Births And Deaths

5.—(1) Application to alter a child’s name under section 21(2) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act 2021		$33
(2) Issue of a birth certificate under regulation 10, 12 or 13 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022		$18
(3) Application for an extract from a record in a register under regulation 14, 15, 21, 22 or 27 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022		$40
(4) Application for a copy of a former record of birth mentioned in regulation 17(2) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022		$40
(5) Search of records in a register for any period before 1986 (called in this paragraph the search period) under regulation 29(2) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022		$50 for every month or part of the month in the search period
(6) Search of records in a register for any period in or after 1986 (called in this paragraph the search period) under regulation 29(2) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022		$40 for the search period

Citizenship

6.—(1) For an application for citizenship		$100
(2) For the issue of a certificate of citizenship		$70
(3) For the replacement of a certificate of citizenship		$20
(4) For the issue of a letter or certificate stating the citizenship status of a person		$20
(5) For processing an application for renunciation of citizenship		$35
(6) For effecting amendments to the register of citizens and the certificate of citizenship of a person		$20
(7) For processing an application by a person claiming to be a citizen by birth or by registration		$240

Passport And Visa

7.—(1) Application for a Singapore passport		$80
(2) Application for replacement of a lost, destroyed or damaged Singapore passport —
(a) first replacement		$50
(b) second or subsequent replacement		$100
(3) For a new or replacement re‑entry permit for a year or part of the year		$10
(4) Application for a Singapore certificate of identity (validity not exceeding one year)		$15
(5) Application for a Singapore certificate of identity		$15 per year of validity
(6) Application for a Singapore certificate of identity (single journey)		$10
(7) Application for renewal of Singapore certificate of identity		$15 per year of validity
(8) Application for replacement of a lost, destroyed or damaged Singapore certificate of identity —
(a) first replacement		$50
(b) second or subsequent replacement		$100
(9) Application for a Singapore document of identity		$15
(10) Application for a Singapore temporary travel document		$75
(11) Application for replacement of a lost, destroyed or damaged Singapore temporary travel document —

8.—(1) Application for a Singapore visa for a non‑citizen to travel to and enter Singapore		$30
(2) Group Singapore visa in respect of 3 or more non‑citizens for those non‑citizens to travel to and enter Singapore as a group —
(a) application under the PRC Collective Gratis Visa Scheme		No charge
(b) any other application		$30
(3) Application for a Singapore visa where an applicant holds a diplomatic or an official passport issued by the government of a foreign country		No charge
9. Application for a visit pass valid for 90 days or more		$30
