Citation

1.  This Notification is the Central Provident Fund (Approved Mortgagees) Notification 2002.

Approved mortgagees

2.  The mortgagees set out in the Schedule are approved as mortgagees for the purposes of Part 4 of the Act.

THE SCHEDULE

Paragraph 2

1. Any bank as defined in section 2(1) of the Banking Act 1970.

2. Any finance company licensed under the Finance Companies Act 1967.

3. Any direct insurer registered under the Insurance Act 1966.

4. The Minister for Finance incorporated under the Minister for Finance (Incorporation) Act 1959.

5. Any merchant bank as defined in section 2(1) of the Banking Act 1970.

6. Any statutory body established by or constituted under any Act.
