(Ministerial Responsibility)
Notification 2025
In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2025 and is deemed to have come into operation on 23 May 2025.
Ministerial designations and responsibilities
2.—(1)  The Prime Minister directs that the Ministers and the Ministers of State named in the first column of the First Schedule —
(a)are to have the designations specified immediately below their names; and
(b)are charged with the responsibility for the departments and subjects specified in the corresponding row in the second column of the First Schedule read, where applicable, with the other Schedules.
(2)  The Prime Minister —
(a)retains in his charge —
(i)the departments and subjects in the Second Schedule (Prime Minister) that are not assigned to any person under sub‑paragraph (1); and
(ii)the departments and subjects in the Seventh Schedule (Finance); and
(b)is also designated as the Minister for Finance.
(3)  This paragraph is subject to —
(a)any provision of the Constitution or of any Act of Parliament that —
(i)expressly confers a function on the Prime Minister or on a Minister charged with the responsibility for a specified subject; or
(ii)expressly confers a function on 2 or more specified Ministers or on any or every Minister; and
(b)any further directions (whether general or specific) by the Prime Minister under Article 30 of the Constitution.
Revocation
3.  Revoke the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2024 (G.N. No. S 470/2024).
