(Chapter 49)
Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 5) Notification 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 5) Notification 2009.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Pools (Private) Limited from the provisions of the Act in respect of the promotion, organisation, administration or operation of any gaming done in connection with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile Formula One World Championship.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Pools (Private) Limited with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 27th February 2009.
