Regulations 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Credit Bureau Act 2016, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations are the Credit Bureau (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 31 May 2021.

Compoundable offences

2.  The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded by the Authority in accordance with section 66 of the Act:

(a) an offence under section 9(2), 13(8), 21(5), 33(9) or 37(5) of the Act;

(b) an offence under the Act that is punishable by a fine only.
