Pursuant to section 17(5) of the Currency Act, it is hereby notified for general information that the denominations and characteristics of the coins to be issued on 8 January 2015 by the Monetary Authority of Singapore are as shown in the Schedule.

A ring of dashes surrounds the Singapore Arms on both the 10-cent and 50-cent coins. The $1 coin has an octagonal frame along the circumference. The $5 coin has a ring of beads surrounding the Singapore Arms with a latent image below it depicting the year-date “2015” and the MAS logo.	The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay in the centre with the figure “5” on the left and the word “CENTS” below it. There is a lion-head outline on the top left of the coin.
10 Cents	Multi-ply nickel-plated steel	2.36 g ± 0.10 g	18.50 mm ± 0.10 mm	1.38 mm ± 0.10 mm	Round	Interrupted Milled		The Public Housing in the centre with the figure “10” on the left and the word “CENTS” below it. There is a lion-head outline on the top left of the coin.
20 Cents	Multi-ply nickel-plated steel	3.85 g ± 0.15 g	21.00 mm ± 0.10 mm	1.72 mm ± 0.10 mm	Round	Milled		The Changi Airport in the centre with the figure “20” on the left and the word “CENTS” below it. There is a lion-head outline on the top left of the coin.
50 Cents	Multi-ply nickel-plated steel	6.56 g ± 0.28 g	23.00 mm ± 0.10 mm	2.45 mm ± 0.10 mm	Round	Micro Scalloped		The Port of Singapore in the centre with the figure “50” on the left and the word “CENTS” below it. There is a lion-head outline on the top left of the coin. A ring of beads surrounds the design.
1 Dollar	Bi-metallic, comprising an inner circle of multi-ply nickel-plated steel and an outer ring of multi-ply brass-plated steel	7.62 g ± 0.30 g	Inner circle: 16 mm ± 0.10 mm Outer ring: 24.65 mm ± 0.10 mm	2.50 mm ± 0.10 mm	Round	Milled		The Merlion in the centre with the figure “1” on the left and the word “DOLLAR” below it. The flower Vanda Miss Joaquim is in between the figure “1” and the Merlion. There is a lion-head outline on the top left of the coin. An octagonal frame surrounds the design.
