Pursuant to section 17(5) of the Currency Act, it is hereby notified for general information that the denominations and characteristics of the coins to be issued on 29th October 1996 by the Board of Commissioners of Currency, Singapore, are as shown in the Schedule hereto.

The dates of the conference “9-13 December 1996” appear on the left of the logo. The inscription “WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION FIRST MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE” is around the circumference of the coin.
