Citation

1.  This Notification may be cited as the Cattle (Unrestricted Areas) Notification.

Where cattle may be kept

2.  No cows, buffaloes, oxen, sheep, goats and swine (not being swine kept for research or scientific purposes in accordance with the provisions of the Act) shall be kept in any part of Singapore except in the areas described in the First Schedule and delineated in the Plans set out in the Second Schedule.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Areas Where Cows, Buffaloes, Oxen, Sheep, Goats and Swine May be Kept

1.  Mukim 12 Lim Chu Kang comprising Lots 640, 642 and 755, and delineated in Plan 1 set out in the Second Schedule.

2.  Mukim 19 North Seletar comprising Lots 14-8 pt, 20-4 pt, 89-3 pt, 89-4 pt, 228 pt, 229, 230, 231, 233, 250 pt, 416, 417pt, 1225 pt, part of Sungei Chik Abu and Lorong Chencharu, and delineated in Plan 2 set out in the Second Schedule.

3.  Mukim 6 Peng Kang comprising Lots 1145, 1826 and 1827, 1147 and 602, and delineated in Plan 3 set out in the Second Schedule.

4.  Mukim 34 Other Islands, Terumbu Pesek comprising Lot 311, and delineated in Plan 4 set out in the Second Schedule.

5.  Mukim 23 Paya Lebar comprising Lots 2227 and 2231, and delineated in Plan 5 in the Second Schedule.

6.  Mukim 14 Mandai comprising Lots 186 pt and 187 pt, and delineated in Plan 6 set out in the Second Schedule.

7.  Mukim 7 comprising Lot 02719X, and delineated in Plan 7 set out in the Second Schedule.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Plans of Areas Where Cows, Buffaloes, Oxen, Sheep, Goats and Swine May be Kept

Plan 1

This Plan shows the area within the Lim Chu Kang Agrotechnology Park, and which is outside the water catchment area.

Plan 2

This Plan shows the area which is the Primary Production Department’s Sembawang Field Experimental Station.

Plan 3

This Plan shows the area which is the Jurong Abattoir and Primary Production Department’s Annual Quarantine Station.

Plan 4

This Plan shows the area which is used for quarantine and holding of animals.

Plan 5

This Plan shows the area which is the Kim Chuan Abattoir.

Plan 6

This Plan shows the area which is the Singapore Zoological Gardens.
